Our Story

Hi our names are Allison & Chad Heidenreich. We have been together since we were 15 and have been married for 9 years, we are Junior High sweethearts. Our relationship has only grown stronger as we have navigated the struggles of infertility and Allie’s diagnosis.

This is Allie’s story… ” I have known since I was 16 that I was infertile. At 16 I was diagnosed with Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser syndrome, MRKH for short. What that means is that I was born without a uterus, cervix, or top portion of my vaginal canal. MRKH is not very well known but is the 2nd leading cause for women to have never gotten a period. This is not life threatening but it is Life Changing. It took a lot for me to get from a scared 16 year old girl just finding out to a grown married woman who is just excited for the future with her amazing supportive husband. I hope that one day my story will demonstrate to our children that strength, commitment, and a little bit of hope will go a long way.”

We have decided our method for starting our family will be a Gestational Carrier. We put a lot of thought into this decision because trusting a stranger with our baby is a scary thought. We are so very fortunate to have had a family member step forward and offer to be our surrogate.

We are very excited to be starting our journey to becoming parents!
